Just over a month ago, Apple announced that it had sold over 100 million iPods worldwide. Unfortunately iPods break, get damaged or tempting new models come along so people upgrade. However one business has seen this as a potential market and started buymybrokenipod.com.
They offer consumers a very simple way to sell their broken or unused iPods. You use their site to indicate which model you would like to sell and what condition it’s in, the website then gives you an instant price that they’ll pay for your iPod. If you accept their price you then send it in and payment is transferred to you via PayPal within 24 hours of them receiving your iPod.
They are planning to make their money by selling the iPods in bulk to small businesses who fix them before reselling them to consumers.
After hearing about this and HungryPod I wonder how many more new business opportunities there are related to iPods and who will start the first business based on the iPhone?

This blog is about business opportunities and ideas that I spot, think of or hear about and think are useful and interesting. It is intended to provide ideas and inspriation for you to help you find the right business idea for you to then grow it into a successful business.
