Peter Jones’s new business show Tycoon will be hitting ITV1 on the 19th June – well timed to pick up on the business reality fever after The Apprentice final tonight.
Jones has selected six entrepreneurs who will all live and work in “Tycoon Tower” which is located on London’s South Bank. The entrepreneurs will work there for the ten week duration of the show. The prize for the winning entrepreneur is the total profits made by all six businesses.
Jones has initially allocated each entrepreneur a budget of £10,000 of his own money. He will be on hand for advice and extra cash if needed, and will be watching the contestants (along with us no doubt) via a web cam.
Tycoon is not Jones’s first TV show, it follows the success of the US show American Inventor, for which he teamed up with Pop Idol’s Simon Cowell.
