According to Real Business Alistair Turner and Anthony Coates-Smith, from Watford, who received £160,000 from Duncan Bannatyne and Richard Farley for a 22.5 per cent stake in their company Igloo Thermo Logistics, have had their business valued at £4m. Disappointingly there’s no hint at how or why the company is suddenly worth so much. From what I remember of their presentation on Dragon’s Den they were clearly one of the best prepared pitches with a solid business behind them.
Meanwhile, Peter Jones and Theo Paphitis investment, iTeddy, has won a multi-million pound deal with Argos, who will sell the multimedia teddy for £55. Well done to the team at iTeddy, Peter Jones has clearly been impressed with them – even mentioning them in his Tycoon book.
