Hardly an new idea for a business but as spammers constantly evolve their techniques and the technology they use to get their spam into our email inboxes, onto our blogs, forums and guestbooks there will be a continued and growing demand for good spam filtering/blocking technologies.

We’ve put together a start at this – currently not much more than an information site with listing some of the techniques we use to keep spam from our blogs, forums and inboxes. By putting together a website about spam filtering techniques that we use in Trivial Business. We hope it will help people reduce the spam they recieve. However our site is just information and advice.

The true opportunity is in the development of efficient spam filter technology for email, forums, blogs and guestbooks. There is then scope to develop good ongoing revenue streams by charging a yearly subscription (much like virus checkers).
