Follow on TwitterFriends of the Earth have been promoting the use of local shops (as opposed to using Tesco or the equivalent) and they are promoting it with this uTube video:
It’s a clever use of Tesco’s own tag line “Every Little Helps”, but really no matter how evil you think Tesco is I for one firmly believe that small businesses can compete with Tesco IF they are prepared to make the effort and here’s 12 Ways For A Small Business To Beat Tesco that they can start with.
I suspect Friends of the Earth promote Fair Trade, yet how many small local shops stock Fair Trade items compared to the big supermarkets? Now that Tesco is taking on Estate Agents I wonder who’ll be seen as the bad guys, Tesco or the Estate Agents?
