The Wessex Association Chamber of Commerce monthly mailing arrived this morning with a flyer from the University of Bath offering French postgrad students (in engineering and computing)Â for up to six weeks in June/July for unpaid work placements. It says they can provide:

1. An extra resource who can develop projects that your business needs but hasn’t got the time to progress.
2. An injection of new skills, fresh ideas and up-to-date technologies from motivated and enthusiastic individuals.
3. An international perspective on your company’s work.
4. A means of developing supervisory skills in your permanent staff.

In return the students will get to practice their English and get a chance to experience working in the UK.
