Cut To The Chase: And 99 Other Rules To Liberate Yourself And Gain Back The Gift Of Time – Stuart R Levine

on September 13th, 2007

cut2thechaseDo you want to know how to:

  • Get more done?
  • Stay focused?
  • Free up more time away from work?

Stuart Levine suggest the answer is to cut to the chase, and in this book he’s provided 100 concise, tips on how to do just that.

Cutting to the chase is about more than getting to the point; it’s about staying focused, getting to grips with the job in hand and concentrating on what’s important. Ultimately, it’s about making the best use of your time and energy. Whether you want to know how to approach each task with clarity, focus and purpose, how to prioritize, or even how to make sure others don’t waste your time, “Cut to the Chase” has a brilliant and simple rule you can follow.

Levine is the CEO of a consulting a leadership company, author of The Six Fundamentals of Success and co-author of The Leader In You, and he has presented worldwide on leadership and personal growth.

Cut To The Chase is a great guide for any small business owner or soon to be entrepreneur as starting out in business you feel the need for 48 hours in each day, this book will help you manage your workload and prioritise the tasks facing you. As an avid reader I don’t agree with his rule 79 “read less”, he suggests taking it a little to far in my opinion. Rule 80 will be contentious but I for one believe it should be an entrepreneur’s mantra throughout their first year.

True to the ethos of the book the writing is clear and concise; it cuts to the chase.

My recommendation? Buy it. Read It. Cut To The Chase. Then let me know if you agree about rule 80.

You can buy it from Amazon UK or Amazon USA.
