Business Opportunities And Ideas

What I Learned From Starting Several Businesses

on November 7th, 2007

Coming up with a business idea is easy.

Rejecting a business idea you love is hard.

Starting a business is easy.

Starting the right business is hard.

Starting the wrong business is easy.

Admitting you started the wrong business is hard.

if you already have money then, borrowing to finance a startup business is easy.

If you haven’t got any money, then borrowing it is hard.

Knowing when to quit and when to stick is essential.

This post was my entry in Middle Zone Musings “What I Learned From…” group writing project.

Very good, John; straight and to the point! Having personally experienced all seven of your points, all I gotta say is, “Amen, brother!”

Thanks for participating the this month’s project!

    Cheers!

Thanks, I’m trying to get my writing as succinct as Seth Godin’s. :-)

Well, at least you’ve set your goals sufficiently high!
