Questions To Ask An Entrepreneur

in: Site
on December 12th, 2007

I’m planning to start interviewing some entrepreneurs in the new year and for this blog. I have a list of the questions I’m planning to ask:

  • Why did you become an entrepreneur?
  • How would you describe your business?
  • How did you come up with your business idea?
  • How did you know it was the right idea?
  • Did you write a formal business plan?
  • How did you finance your business?
  • What are the biggest challenges you faced starting up and how did you overcome them?
  • How big is the business now?
  • What are the biggest challenges you face now?
  • What advice would you give an entrepreneur starting out today?
  • If you were to start a new business today, what would it be?
  • What is the worst experience you’ve had as an entrepreneur?

But what I’d really like to know, is what questions you, as readers of my blog would like to me ask an entrepreneur? I’d also like to know who you’d like to see interviewed?

Update: I’ve now finalised my list of questions to ask an entrepreneur.
