Whatever your business idea it’s easy to get distracted with the day to day running (or by the excitement of starting) your business while losing focus on your idea.
For your business to be a success it’s vital you keep distractions to a minimum. I suggest you do this by outsourcing absolutely everything you don’t need to personally do. You’re not a book keeper – get one to do the book keeping, get an accountant to do the end of year accounts.
Don’t do anything that isn’t directly related to developing, manufacturing and selling your product or improving your business. Even better, if you can, license your product to someone else and let them make, distriute and sell!
After all many people have good business ideas, few make them into businesses as starting a successful business is 1% the idea and 99% the effort, planning, persistance and focus that goes into making the idea a success. When good business ideas fail it’s because the entrepreneur is not focusing on the idea.
