Can I start a business with no money?

and so on. Well the good news is yes you can, all you really need to start a business is passion and a determination to make it succeed. Sure not having money will make it harder and you can not start some businesses with no money, but there are plenty of others that you can. Of course once you have a business up and running you can always then use the money that business generates to start another business.
Being a teenager, or still in school doesn’t stop you from running a business either – although you won’t be able to work on it in school time. I would strongly suggest you don’t skip school to run your business, because the better your level of education the better your chance of succeeding in business (although you don’t need top grades).
Finally whilst there are a few businesses you can’t run from home there are a lot of business that you can run from home and according to some reports 60% of new businesses in the UK start at home and around 2.1 million UK businesses are based at home accounting for 28% of UK employment.
In short, if you’re passionate about starting a business and prepared to work hard, then yes you can start a business.

Thanks for the advice and encouragement. I am 17 and have been wanting to start my own business for a while now. I am doing Business Studies at A level which has given me some good basic knowledge about businesses but would appreciate any other advice you could offer! I am hoping to start an online business either selling clothing/jewellery or by designing websites for people as i have found i have a good knowlesge of html and website design. Which would you recommend and are there any tips you could give? Would really appreciate your help! Thanks.
