Where can I find a list of blogs for sale?
I’ve never really looked for a blog for sale, but if I were to do so, then I’d work through the list of sites offering Internet businesses for sale that I included in my earlier post an Internet business for sale.
I’d also have a go at finding blogs that might be for sale, but aren’t currently advertised for sale as you may well be able to pick up a bargain. Typically these would be blogs that someone has worked on for several months/years but not quite managed to generate enough success to become an A-list blogger so instead they’ve lost their enthusiasm and lost interest. Typically you’ll find these blogs are established but haven’t been posted on for several months.
In order to find such potential bargains I’d use Google trying variations of the following searches:
- "<topic> blog for sale" – replace <topic> with the topic you’re interested in.
- "<topic> blog no longer updating"
- "<topic> blog closed"
If you check out the Internet business for sale post there are several other suggestions that you can adapt to be blogging related.

Is’nt it pointless buying a blog? As most blogs are checked because of the bloggers view on topics.
That’s certainly true for many blogs, however the more popular (and more valuable ones) tend to be less personal and written by a team.
