In the 1960’s Andy Warhol famously quipped that “in the future, everyone will be famous for fifteen minutes”. Since then I’ve heard it said that with the rise of the Internet everyone will be famous for fifteen seconds. Well today it seems I’ve had my fifteen seconds. As regular readers will know from my recent posts on opening a gym, one hundred pushups and skipping for fitness that I’ve started going down the gym again recently. It was there, that today I experienced my fifteen seconds of fame – I talked a little more to one of the regulars who told me that he recognised me from this website! Wow that really brings home to me how many people read this website! Many thanks to you all!
So there you go, starting a blog or starting a blogging business can not only make you some money, it could also lead to your own fifteen seconds of fame. Plus it’s much less embarrassing than being chewed over on Dragons’ Den; showing the worst side of your business personality on The Apprentice or appearing on the latest reality TV show.
