EmailIn the last few years there’s been an increasing interest in entrepreneurship in the UK (and worldwide) which has led to an ever increasing number of business related TV shows. Here’s some of the ones I watch and have written about.
The Apprentice
The Apprentice sees 16 candidates battle it out over a series of 12 ‘business’ related tasks in order to win a £100,000 job working for Lord Alan Sugar. The show and the series’ so far are described on the ‘The Apprentice’ page.
Dragon’s Den
Dragon’s Den sees entrepreneurs pitching their business ideas to a range of business angels in an attempt to win investment in their idea from the angels. For more about the show please visit the Dragon’s Den page.
Peter Jones’ Tycoon
Peter Jones’ Tycoon lasted a mere one series. As a result of poor ratings ITV moved its slot from peek time after only a few episodes and sealed its fate. Peter Jones write a book to accompany the series: Tycoon: How to Be REALLY Rich.
