Hi, this is a great site, firstly let me take this opportunity to thank John the brains behind this forum and informative website, so thank you so much
Im from the UK and my town derby its small and Im wanting to start a business with my passion/interest that im good at which is powerlifting/bodybuilding/gym strength training, and nutrition.
Im 25 years old and looked into gyms and fitness instructors but for instructors you need specific qualifications and the courses are expensive and they take a long time but above all they are basic and I know a lot about fitness and lifting weights and strength training simply from my first hand experience about them. Any advice would be appreciated on what you think I could do as I once read do something your passionate about so this is it, thanks.

John,
Welcome to the forum and thanks for the kind words.
I suspect you'll find that few gyms will be able to employ fitness instructors who are not "qualified" without invalidating their insurance.
Doing something you're passionate about is generally good advice - if you're not passionate about it you'll struggle to get through the tough times. On the other hand sometimes your passions just aren't profitable so do be prepared to be flexible.
What aspect of the training and nutrition really excites you? Do you or have competed?

hi John, thanks for your kind reply
I agree with what you mentioned, sometimes passions are just not profitable thats why I am flexible, Im 24 years old and just keeping an eye out for opportunities, the aspects of training that excites me is the getting stronger feeling and setting new "PR"s, they are personal goals that I set myself for different type of lifts etc.. As for nutrition well I know the importance of it when you push your body to its limits, as I used to be more focused on bodybuilding before I know and have helped people in my gym and old uni with diet tips and stuff, currently i just keep the fat low and up the protein and carbs, but people ask me about advice and i write it on paper and give it to them for free

It's late, so just a quick thought... have you considered creating a blog/website around your knowledge?
