Hi, Could anyone point me in the right direction to someone who can see a graet idea when it's looking at them in the face?I just thought i would ask because trying to get a new brand to market is just so frustrating.
It's got everything you need, it can fit into the educational and mainstream market place, the product range is vast, many of the products can also be used to colour-in, the products can also be used for mind games and hand held games.This idea will be used for all age groups, male and female. Not bad for a piece of artwork!
You see, if you produce a piece of art it must "fit" into a certain style to be licensed, 'trends' can change things but all in all it's got to be a certain colour or style.What the people want is important it's their money that will buy the product but how do you get into the 'loop'?
This is not your 'normal' art it is very different and it helps people use their imagination. All the products can be manufactured in this country apart from one. Any ideas?

Hi John,
I am looking to bring out a range of products using this new art form.
I was hoping to license the idea but as i mentioned i am finding it very difficult to find the right licensing company. The artwork could be used as a marketing tool/products for a large company, in fact the applications for this new art form is huge. So to answer your question, i am looking for help to bring new and unique products to the market place with vast scope for follow on products. Of course i realise bringing a product to market can cost a fortune and you need the right people to bring a great idea to market so i am open to ideas and feedback.

The art *is* the idea, this will be printed in books, poster puzzle games, greeting cards, board games..and much more.

You originally asked for help finding "someone who can see a great idea", unfortunately I don't think that finding such people is what you are having problems with. Instead I think it's communicating the idea to them that you're stumbling on.

The idea may well seem obvious to you, but if you don't explain it to someone in a way that they understand then it will fail, no matter how good it is.

I would suggest you try to explain the idea in terms of the value it creates for the customer.

The new artwork can help with self expression, therapy-destress, eye-hand coordination,building motor skills, focus, concentration.
Can build on story telling, imagination, memory.
As for the "someone who can see a great idea" if you can't see this artwork it is so difficult to explain, once you see it you can then "understand" it.But thank you for your feed back john.
It has always been difficult to explain this artwork without the pictures, this is mainly due to nothing has been produced like this before.
I am working on a new hand held game at the moment using the artwork and was informed the local tech college could help make a short film on the product, i was trying to explain the same thing to them on the phone, it was only when i took some of the prototypes to show them that they realised how different and exciting it is. Once you see the pictures it explaines it all.

By the way, you can use the Img button to include an image in the post (although the image will need to be hosted elsewhere on the web), if that helps.

Are we talking about the art on your website?

Although there is many pieces of art on my website it is only the large posters that i use for the puzzle poster games. All the other product pictures are new and i have kept off the site. If you stand back from the pictures, say 4-6ft your own imagination will find your own pictures.
All i can say is my user name gives you a clue! It's top on google, just drop the number 3!
I have no idea how to use the img* and am new to the computer world, sorry.
But i would like to thank you for your feed back and being patient, we got there in the end.

Well I quite like your art and I think I understand what you're trying to do.

In order to get others to see "a great idea" here I think you need to spend some time refining a brief description of the idea. I suggest you aim for no more than 150 words (i.e. 30-45 seconds of speech).

If you can't do it in words then try less words and more pictures - in other words a short slide show (check out the worlds best presentations for some links to some excellent slideshows/presentations).
